Explore Hidra on an Electric Bike
Explore the beautiful island in an environmentally friendly and comfortable way with electric bikes! We offer both electric bike rentals and guided tours that take you through the island's charming roads, magnificent nature and rich history. Experience the island at your own pace, or learn more about Hidra's exciting history from a guide. Along the way you will find several places with fantastic views where it is nice to enjoy a break.
Wild Sheep Safari
On several of the islands around Hidra, wild sheep graze to keep the coastal landscape open and accessible. It is of great cultural and historical value to take care of the landscape. On this safari you get up close to the sheep and hear about what it is like to raise sheep on the coast. If you are lucky, you may also see other wild animals such as eagles.
Kayaking
Explore the island and its historic fishing settlements by sea kayak. We have kayaks for rent so you can take a trip on your own, or join a guided tour with experienced instructors and get expert guidance as well as fascinating insights into local history and marine life.
Coasteering
Explore the tides of the Amphidronic Zone and the rocky coastline by climbing, jumping and swimming. Coasteering is a unique way to discover how waves, tides, wind, rocks, cliffs and caves work together in the coastal environment. We offer coasteering with an experienced guide, and the activity can be easily adapted to the wishes and level of the participants. Included: Safety equipment (life jacket, helmet etc.)

We recommend taking a trip to the 170-year-old church that towers at the end of a headland in the middle of Kirkehamn.
Via Ferrata
Via ferrata is an exciting climbing experience that combines natural beauty and adrenaline. With fixed protection such as iron ladders and cables, both beginners and experienced climbers can move safely along steep mountains and impressive cliff edges. Borrow the necessary climbing equipment from us and have an experience out of the ordinary.
A boat is required to complete the experience. It is not included.

Culture, Nature and History at Hågåsen
Hågåsen in Kirkehamn on Hidra has many interesting stories that have not previously reached all those who visit this gem every year. The Germans had a lot of activity here during World War II, there was a major battle here during the Napoleonic Wars and an optical telegraph has been placed on top of Hågåsen. In addition, Kirkehamn, which is seen from the top, is full of outport, fishing and sailing ship history.
